The first thing that comes to mind when chaos is the ruler of your thoughts is the need to meditate or calm one's self down to a logical speed. This has to be a part of mental and emotional maturity. When you can say that your mind races along and crashes constantly, you know there's something wrong. How the hell do the monks in china do it? Is it because they're at the top of some distant mountain where nothing happens? Could you say that they follow the secret of life that proves to be repulsive to most people: to live as a hermit? When Hitler started to take on the reigns of a genocidal maniac with a need for control, how did he look so in control one minute and then later on get as desperate as a wild animal backed into a corner? What made Ghandi so calm and collective? Where did mathematics come from in a historical point of view? What is it about the human mind that can boggle and work perfectly at the same time, and why?
