Why do all the people I know have to be retarded when it comes to holidays? I'm not saying that everyone has to know an extensive history about every holiday out there, but damn if I'm not annoyed with the stupidity of common American misconceptions and beliefs. Like today, for instance, it's St. Patrick's day.........everyone seems to believe that it's all about drinking and partying due to the Irish aspect of it, but no one really knows who St. Patrick was in history. Just like they don't know who St. Valentine was. I wish people didn't act so Neanderthal in voice and action.

I know it's been a very long time since I've uploaded or said anything on my page. Just know that I've done a lot of wandering through life, though my wanderlust is nowhere near satisfied. At the moment, I'm in a kind of mentally numbing drift. I'm trying to get a hold of my bearings. Life's been hard, but I'm not going to complain. It's been way too long since I've done one of these, so here goes. And by the way, this one is pretty epic. Be prepared to be blown away in astral proportions.
I'm talking about a planetary nebula, or, to put it simply, a ring-shaped nebula formed by an expanding shell of gas around an aging star. There are approximately 10,000 out there in space, and each has very specific defining characteristics. This makes it relatively easy to nick name, albeit an official scientific name is given as well (at least, as far as I recall).
One noteworthy discovery is Little Gem, as you'll no doubt see why. Another might be Abell 30, although very standard
